Ajose seeks WBC chance,Says he is the most avoided fighter in boxing
Olusegun Ajose, the World Boxing Council (WBC) number one ranked super lightweight contender (30-0, 14 Kos), has declared that he is one of the most avoided fighter in boxing.
After waiting patiently for his chance at the title, Ajose feels frustrated that he has been shirked by everyone in the division.
The Nigerian-born Ajose believes that he has fulfilled all righteousness in getting a shot at the current champion Erik Morales.
"For some reason I have been bypassed but Im not going anywhere. All these guys can run but they can’t hide and I am going to stay on top ranked #1 in the world," he said.
"It's been my dream to strap the WBC belt around my waist since I first got ranked and I will not be denied. Believe that!"
Ajose's advisor, Damian Ramirez, expressed optimism that his lad will be fighting the winner of Erik Morales vs. Danny Garcia bout.
He will be scheduled on the undercard of Sergio Martinez on March 17th.
The slick southpaw has worked his way to the number one spot by beating everyone who has challenged him.
He fought most of his fights in the UK,and is now hoping to make a name for himself in the United States.
