The alleged mastermind of the Christmas Day bombing of St Theresa's Church, Madalla, Kabiru Sokoto, has reportedly been recaptured.
Sokoto, a suspected member of the Boko Haram sect, was arrested early last month in the Borno State Governor's Lodge in Abuja. He, however, escaped when the police team transporting him was allegedly attacked by members of the sect.
The police is yet to make an official announcement, but sources state that Sokoto was nabbed in the Central Business District of Abuja.
The police had placed a N50 million ransom on him.
